How BECAUSE. Began
BECAUSE. started with a question: what if group travel could be more than a getaway? What if it could be a bridge — between people who have something to give and communities that have something to teach?
We saw organizations — sororities, churches, corporations, universities — with deep wells of talent, resources, and goodwill, searching for ways to put those gifts to work beyond their own walls. And we saw communities in Jamaica with locally defined priorities, real needs, and a desire for partners who would show up with humility, not just charity.

Everything BECAUSE. does is grounded in our partnership with Inspire and Serve — a non-profit organization with deep roots in Jamaica creating community-led solutions that strengthen women, youth, and families.
Inspire and Serve ensures that every trip is shaped by locally informed priorities. They know the communities. They know the needs. And they know how to connect visiting groups in ways that create genuine, lasting value — for the community and for the group.
